Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 30) — President Rodrigo Duterte will once again address the nation in a televised message on Monday.
The address is tentatively set at 4 p.m., his spokesperson Salvador Panelo said.
Duterte was advised on March 27 to undergo self-quarantine at his official residence in Malacañang Palace in Manila City after confirmed cases of coronavirus infection among some officials. He continues to work from home, monitoring the country's situation and giving the necessary orders, Senator Christopher "Bong" Go said.
Luzon is entering its third week of enhanced community quarantine after Duterte placed the country's biggest island under lockdown to contain the spread of COVID-19.
